Gorgeous Village Guest House

I ended up staying for over a month because I love it here. The family hosts are amazing, and the food is delicious. It’s tucked into a hillside with farmland all around, overlooking the lake and away from the noisy lakeside area.

For some quiet time away from the crowds, I can highly recommend Gorgeous Village Guesthouse. You get panoramic views in a peaceful setting, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and good value, with steaming hot water available 24 hours a day. The owner does a fantastic job caring for guests and keeping everything neat and tidy. For me, this is the place to stay in Pokhara if you want quiet and those views.

I stayed at the Goregeus guesthouse for two weeks, and I’d give it 4.65. The owner cooks tasty food and brings it out with a smile. The place feels honest and deep in a way I can’t quite describe. The owner, or maybe the host, is very pleasant, and people in the village are kind. The area has lots of colors and smells, and it’s quiet, which makes it a good choice for people who don’t like noise. It sits about 500 meters above Like Feva. The views really are magical, as everyone says, though I also agree that people don’t choose books just by their covers. I think it’s best to book a week, try it, and then decide whether to stay longer or leave. Good place, good owners.

The owner is a genuine, incredible man, and the rooms are clean, secure, and relaxing. This is such a peaceful corner of Pokhara, right by the trail up Sarangkot, with unforgettable sunrises. You can watch sunsets over the lake from just outside your room. There are lovely green outdoor areas with fruit trees and a tropical feel. I highly recommend it.
