Mum's Garden Resort

It’s an easy 5-10 minute walk along the lake to the main street, shops, and restaurants, but the side-street location stays peaceful. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and the food was delicious. The place is clean and welcoming, with individual showers and a balcony, plus a garden patio for groups to gather. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel is near the lake and main shopping street, but tucked away enough to be peaceful. There’s a lovely little patio at the back with flowers and trees. The food was tasty, and the set breakfast was phenomenal. I had a wonderful stay.

I loved how quiet it was, with birds singing in the morning and buffalo in the lot next door. The rooms are spacious and have a great ceiling fan. The restaurant serves very good, reasonably priced food, and the staff are very friendly. There was a little mildew on the bathroom ceiling, though the climate is humid. The owner pays attention and responds to concerns.
