Khem, the host father, was always there to help whenever we wanted to do something or needed a hand. I loved the food from our host mom and playing games with the kids. The whole family made me feel at home right away, and being so close to the lake was perfect. I hope I can go back one day :)

The hosting family are lovely and ready to help anytime, and everything was super clean and neat. It's a cozy place with a great view of the lake. The surroundings are quiet and green, with the forest nearby. You can hear birds singing from your room or the rooftop while you relax. Highly recommended ;)

I spent four months with the family and had a wonderful time. They're very friendly, help with everything you need, and make you feel like part of the family. The location is perfect too, just a minute from the lakeside for a lovely walk.

The rooftop was one of my favorite spots, a peaceful place to sit in the sun, eat breakfast, read, or do laundry while enjoying the view. The location is handy, just a short walk from the lake, with cafes and restaurants nearby and buses and taxis easy to get when you want to go farther. I stayed at Top Choice Guest Home for four months, and it was one of my best decisions in Nepal. Khem, Susma, and their lovely children welcomed us warmly and made us feel like family. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Khem was always ready to help, whether I had a problem, wanted to explore, or needed to plan a trip. He'd quickly arrange things at the best price. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well maintained, with hot showers. For longer stays, they clean your room regularly. In the evenings, you can join the family for delicious dal bhat, and Susma is happy to show you how to cook Nepali meals if you enjoy cooking. It works well for short or long visits. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming place in Nepal, this is a great choice.
