Hotel Butterfly

The best part of the safari was the night in the jungle tower. It was clean and comfortable, had its own bathroom, and felt like living in a nature documentary. We saw so many animals, and the food was great. We also did a jeep safari, canoeing and a walk. The staff and guides were wonderful, welcoming people, and the garden was lovely for working. I had a work meeting under a gazebo with cold drinks, though there’s so much beauty around that you might not want to work. They even picked us up from the bus station for free before we’d decided whether to stay. Great place for organizing a safari. Huge thanks to our funny, professional guides!

Dipas and Roosan were my guides on a two-day trip to Chitwan National Park, which the guest house organized perfectly. The jungle walk was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever done. In the tropical forest, surrounded by insects, animals and lush plants, it felt like stepping into another world. We saw rhinos, bears, crocodiles, lots of birds and other species. The park was clean and very well preserved. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly kind and helpful, and the quality for the price was excellent. I highly recommend staying here and taking a longer jungle trek if you can. A truly unique adventure.

It’s a budget-friendly hotel. Breakfast was OK, but I’d go elsewhere for lunch or dinner. I had to ask for toiletries. Don’t leave belongings unattended, even on your own balcony. You can arrange extra activities at the front desk.

The staff were the best part, genuinely so nice and easy to talk to. We had lunch before checking out, and wow, the food was so good. The cottage-style rooms are really cute, and I loved the hammock and going for walks here. For what you get at the price, this place is hard to beat. The one letdown was that no rhino or elephant came by to visit me. I’ll definitely stay at Hotel Butterfly again!
