The place has a nice ambience and a lot going for it, but the staff were rude and uncooperative. With better manners from the staff and proper maintenance, it could be a real gem.

The guide on safari really knew his stuff and worked hard to make sure we had a good experience. The Rhino Residency Resort is a wonderful place to stay, with excellent accommodation, food, and staff. I’d recommend it to friends and family, and I’m planning to come back in the near future.

The location is pleasant, with the jungle only a short walk away. Staff were friendly, the activities were nice, and the meals were reasonably good. But several basics weren’t working properly, including the bathroom, shower, water taps, and air conditioners. There is a generator, though it only runs the fans, not the AC.

There’s EV charging on site, though it’s slow, with a 15A port. The resort is a large place that’s been around for a long time, in a prime spot near the rapti river. The price was affordable, Rs 2500 per night for a double bed room.

The owner clearly cares a lot about the property and made sure we felt welcome. The grounds were lovely, with flowering gardens and a clean pool. The rooms were adequate, and the shower had hot water.
