Hotel Namaste Nepal

The middle of the property is now a garden restaurant, with open space, lights, and plants that make it charming. The nearby houses have become meeting and assembly halls, along with guest rooms, and the hotel has been renovated with new-looking living rooms and good beds. In the city center, it seemed like a good spot for an overnight stay or an event, and the price felt right. The restaurant is very nice, though service can be slow and hospitality was just satisfactory. It had been fine before the renovation and improvement.

We’ve stayed here three times now and have enjoyed coming back each time. It feels like home, with kind, welcoming staff, great service, and a nice rooftop.

The dining area was a highlight for me. The food tasted better than I expected, and the staff were courteous, attentive, and professional. At Hotel Namaste Nepal in Surkhet, I found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well kept, with good furnishings and an attached bathroom. They had the essentials, including a TV, AC, fan, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a warm, welcoming feel, and it was a wonderful place to relax. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to visitors looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with good service. Some pictures are included here.

I’d been having lunch and dinner at Hotel Namaste for the past few days after a colleague recommended it. The food was satisfactory, but today’s staff interaction left me feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. I asked about my bill at the counter and was nearly charged for water I hadn’t ordered. The staff member then mocked the situation and laughed with a colleague. When I later asked whether lunch came with a bill, they laughed again instead of giving me a clear answer. A senior staff member eventually explained the process, and I appreciated that, but the other staff’s unprofessional behavior and lack of basic courtesy had already spoiled the experience. I hope management takes this seriously, because respectful service matters as much as the food.
