After our long trek, everything we needed was taken care of, and nothing seemed to be a problem for these hosts. My wife and I got wonderful attention from the family and their wider team. The food was consistently very good and arrived with a warm smile. Our room was spotless and tidy, with double-glazed windows, and the cushioned floors softened the sound of footsteps at night. The hot shower was amazing, the dining room felt warm and inviting, and laundry came back incredibly fast. The location in the village worked well too. I travel often and stay in plenty of hotels, but I’ve never left a review before. This stay made me want to. I can’t rate it highly enough. Congratulations to you all on a remarkable lodge! Right in the heart of Namche bazaar, with friendly staff and a beautiful mountain view from my room. There are quite a few rules and signs around, which I guess comes with the many trekkers, climbers, and mountaineers who stay here. Breakfast and dinner have to be eaten at the hotel, though I was fine with that and enjoyed the tasty food. Lunch can be wherever you like. My room was modern, clean, and a good size. The shower is in a separate room, and you need to let staff know when you want to use it. I assume that’s to manage the hot water.

The family are wonderfully hospitable, and the food is great. Its central location is a big plus. I always stop here when I pass through Namche.

The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. The hotel rules say you have to eat your meals there, but that didn’t bother us much. The room was small, though clean and cozy. Not a bad hotel.
