The thukpa was decent, and I really liked the thali set. Their chicken wings and drumsticks were my favorites. The food quality is impressive, and I think this is one of Phungling's most underrated places to eat. A bit more consistent daily cleaning, regular washing of the sofa covers, and separate smoking and non-smoking areas would make it even better. 🥂

I barely got four hours of sleep because the room was so noisy, and I wouldn't stay here again for that reason. There was loud noise from the big ventilation opening above the main door, and I could even hear people on the stairs. Karaoke was allowed until midnight, so sleeping was difficult. The staff were very nice, the hotel is near the bus station, and the mountain view room had a view of the mountains. They also have electric blankets, which are handy in cold weather.

The staff were super nice, and the place was hygienic. I had the best pork khana set I've ever had. A perfect place to stay.
