Nature Safari Resort

Madhu and his family made us feel like part of the family, and their care continued through every part of our five days at Nature Safari Resort. The rooms and landscaping are lovely, and you can tell they take pride in both. We went trekking, hiking, and on jeep safaris with Madhu's knowledgeable team, and got to see the beauty of Bardiya National Park. The food was all handmade with local ingredients, even during our overnight camp in the park, and each meal topped the one before. It was the highlight of our Nepal trip. Bardiya seems ready for a lot more visitors, and I'm glad we met Madhu and explored it before then. We'd love to come back.

The park excursions were a real highlight, especially seeing animals in their habitat, including a tiger. I especially recommend the walking trek. I stayed three nights and appreciated the local family's genuine hospitality, the spacious room and huge bathroom, and the delicious local dishes made with produce from nearby fields.

Everything about this resort was worse than it should be. The rooms and service were bad, and the food was low quality and bad too. The hospitality was pathetic. The owner shouldn't be part of such a friendly resort community in Bardia.

We spent a very pleasant stay here. The room was large, clean, and beautiful inside and out, with a terrace right in front. Madhu and his wife were honest and helpful, and the family food was good. We also had a lovely day at Bardia national park with Madhu. Everything felt good and reasonably priced.
