Riverside Garden Resort

Aysegul from customer relations was so kind and energetic. She invited us for coffee, and we really enjoyed our conversation. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, with a very green setting and clean pools, which we enjoyed even though the weather was getting a bit cold. The people were nice and helpful, and the rooms were okay, though they could be improved.

I’m only on day two, but wanted to leave a review now and another at the end of the stay. The gardens are really well kept, and the whole hotel is very clean, with four beautiful pools. The setting is lovely, the food is good with plenty of choice, and the staff are delightful and helpful. Guest Relations Ayşegül was especially helpful. We’d definitely come back.

We liked the friendly staff, good food, and pleasant surroundings during our four nights, but housekeeping was unacceptable. In room 260, our towels were left on the floor to be changed after the second day, yet they weren’t replaced. We told reception. When we came back, a black bag of towels had been left on the door handle, but nobody had cleaned the room or taken away the used towels. We complained again and nothing changed. The rubbish bin stayed full for the rest of our stay, and the bathroom still had dirty towels. We’d brought money to tip the room service staff, but never got the basic service we expected. This felt like neglect, not a small mistake, and the hygiene and housekeeping standards need urgent improvement. We wouldn’t recommend staying unless management takes this seriously and fixes it.

The location made for a relaxing escape, with a lovely natural setting, and our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the water from the balcony in the evenings. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant is well worth trying, and the meals were delicious. Service stayed top-notch throughout. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm and ready to help. We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Hotel and would happily return. Thanks to mr mehmet, ms ecej, mr Hosein and reception for all their care.
