The view made the tricky parking worth it. The driveway is steep and turning the car around was a squeeze, but we could walk straight out for kayaking, swimming and hikes. We had a really relaxing stay, and the host was friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast was fresh, tasty and made with local products, brought right to me by the owner. My room was clean, comfortable and practical, with a secluded private balcony looking over the bay. The host gave me a particularly warm welcome and took time to make sure I had what I needed and to suggest things to do nearby. A peaceful, quiet stay in an isolated spot in the Marlborough Sounds.
