A peaceful place, with the Queen Charlotte track only a five-minute walk away. The service was friendly and helpful, and our two-night stay at Anakiwa lodge was clean and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

I arrived at Anakiwa cold and soaked, and couldn't wait hours for the boats. A very kind gentleman arranged a last-minute transfer to Picton for me. While I waited, I was offered a cup of tea. Thank you, I highly recommend.

After our last day hiking the Queen Charlotte track, that large spa room was very welcome. The place was really nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The owners can give you a lift around for a few dollars, and there are drinks and food available to buy.
