The owners were so friendly and shared some great ideas for things to do. The place is tucked into a quiet spot outside town, yet it’s only a quick drive to the city or Arrowtown. Inside, the cosy atmosphere, delicious breakfast, and daily turndown with sweets were all lovely. Another guest summed it up well: it’s the kind of B&B you hope every stay will be. Honestly, it may be one of the best places I’ve stayed on vacation. I’d recommend it to everyone.

The owners were kind and friendly, and gave us great recommendations for the area. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options to choose from. The rooms and the whole property are beautiful and so well cared for. This was truly a dream stay, one of my all-time favorite accommodations. I can’t recommend it enough!

The best part of our evenings was settling in by the fireplace in the Common room with a cup of tea and a book. Breakfast was superdelicious, too. The Ferry B&B is a lovely place, and Hosts Mitzi and Dan were courteous and pleasant. They know plenty about activities around Queenstown and were happy to share their ideas.

Dan and Mitzi made us feel so welcome, and breakfast was a delight. It’s wonderfully quiet here, surrounded by nature and hardly anyone around. From Shotover bridge you can look out over the mountains and river, and the puffy chickens are just too cute. I loved sitting by the fireplace in the evening. It feels like being taken back in time. Such a perfect stay, away from the Madding Crowd.

Mitzi and Dan were lovely hosts, with lots of useful advice on places to see and practical tips, like where to park in Queenstown. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the lounge. The building’s history is really interesting, and everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge and powerful, and breakfast, including homemade bread, was delicious. We also appreciated the homemade cakes each afternoon. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
