Coronet Ridge Resort

Dinner at Elevation was spectacular, and we made great use of the spa and pool. We spent nine nights at Coronet Ridge Resort in January 2026, shortly after it reopened following what I assume was a major refurbishment. It was quiet then, but the lovely, spacious rooms had everything we needed, and all the staff were courteous and helpful. It made our South Island and Queenstown trip that bit more special. I'm sure the hotel will be very successful and full during ski season.

Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and looking out at the shotover River was a perfect way to spend the evening. The location is great, just a short drive from Queenstown, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely design and perfect service. We stayed here twice and loved both visits. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although everything is new and in great condition, the place is clearly kept clean and tidy. The pool, sauna and hot tubs were fantastic. Breakfast was very good value, with beautiful restaurant views. We'd choose it again.

Kia Ora! The rooms were exceptionally quiet, which was a big plus for us, and we enjoyed the restaurant, indoor pool and other amenities. The staff went above and beyond, and we had a lovely stay. We'd happily come back. If you're booking, I'd recommend choosing a Shotover River view room. Otherwise, you'll face the car park and may need to keep the block out blinds closed for privacy and to stop headlights shining into the room. Thanks again to the CRR team.

The spa was a relaxing treat, and the food was delicious. At check-in, the staff greeted us straight away and were very accommodating. Our room was one of the nicest I've stayed in for a while, modern, immaculate and spacious, with a complimentary bar fridge stocked with locally sourced goodies. It's an easy distance from both Queenstown and Arrowtown, and a lovely place to get away and unwind. Thank you for a great stay.
