Park Residences - a THC Hotel

The gym had a great view, and there were plenty of facilities to use, though they felt dated. Our room was clean and nice enough, but the road noise was very loud on the second floor. The room also got hot even on a cold day, and the heating controls were confusing. We couldn't open the windows at night to cool it down because of the noise.

The views from every room were breathtaking, and the apartments were brand new, spacious and clean. They had top of the line appliances, including heated towel racks and heated bathroom tiles. The one letdown was room service. They left rubbish behind and hadn't vacuumed or wiped down the counters.

The Park Residence team made sure my wife's birthday massage was arranged as a surprise, even though it took some back and forth to set up. Everyone was friendly, helpful and had our best interests in mind. I was using a voucher because I'm saving for a house, and I've sometimes been treated poorly for that at other places. That wasn't the case here at all. I've stayed in hotels around the world, and I don't think I've had service at this level before. Our apartment was spacious and one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in. It had a full kitchen, a king bed in a separate bedroom, two bathrooms with heated floors, and TVs in both the bedroom and lounge. It was fully stocked, and we never heard anyone around us. Made-to-order breakfast was included, as I knew in advance, but I hadn't expected the squash court, spa area (apart from massages and services) and impressive movie room to be complimentary too. They reserved the big room just for my wife and me, made popcorn, and brought us drinks, all on the house. The amenities and service made the stay memorable, and I can't wait to return. It's quiet and comfortable in a beautiful area about 10 minutes outside Queenstown. I doubt you'll find better value anywhere in Queenstown. Great job, team!

We lived in these comfortable apartments for a couple of months. The location is great and the view is beautiful. I recommend them completely, though everything in Queenstown is unfortunately overpriced at the moment.
