It has a really homely feel and was clean and well equipped with bed linen and cookware. A lovely place to stay.

Loved this place ❤️ It was so quiet, with two spacious bedrooms and a lounge-dining area. It definitely deserves five stars. There’s a dog statue and Tekapo church right there, and a short stroll over the bridge takes you into the shopping area.

I was absolutely gutted not to make it to Beech Cottage because of the Canterbury floods. The owner was very understanding and sympathetic, and immediately offered to cancel our booking free of charge. I’ll try to make it back on my next work trip. Thank you!

We had a great stay here. The gardens were lovely, and the lake was close by. Such a peaceful spot.

There’s no lake view from the cottage, but it only takes about two minutes to walk out to the lake. The place itself is spacious and nice.
