At NZD800 a day, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The flat is already a bit worn, and it had only three glasses for four people. The drain didn't work properly either. The electronic lock was unreliable, so we regularly had to get in through a window. The hotline didn't seem very interested, gave us another code that made no difference, then ended the call quickly. We also weren't sent the self check-in instructions after paying, despite what had been stated, and got no reply to our enquiries. On arrival day, nobody was at the provider's address. We only learned how to check in after calling the hotline. It wasn't worth the price.

We were only in Lake Tekapo for a night and stayed in this apartment for that one night. It was a bit worn from all the people coming and going, but perfectly adequate for us, and we'd gladly return. Everything we needed was there: a stove and dishwasher in the kitchen, including tape, plus a washing machine and detergent.
