Cedar View

We stayed for two nights as a group of three, and Winnie the property manager made things very pleasant. She was friendly, easy to communicate with, and ready to help whenever needed. Our bedroom and the backyard balcony both looked out over the lake, and we were lucky enough to catch a clear sky on the first night, with the Milky Way and shooting stars visible. It's a short walk to the lakeside. The kitchen had the whole lot, including a top of the line stove, fridge, stainless steel pots and pans, dishwasher and toaster. We enjoyed cooking, and made good use of the dining table and the sofa for late night drinks. The beds and blankets were clean and comfortable. It's on the higher end pricewise, but we felt it was worth it. Lake Tekapo was our favourite stay of the whole South Island trip. Highly recommended!
