Queenstown TOP 10 Holiday Park

The friendly staff are the heart of this Top 10. I've seen other places where the service was different, but the guys and girls here were genuinely helpful. When the shuttle was fully booked, they sorted it out in an adequate, really friendly way. The small campsite is great for getting away from busy Queenstown. It has a spacious restaurant and livingrook, and offers a free shuttle into town. There's also a bus stop right in front of the campsite that does the same trip for just 4 dollars. Five stars for this Top 10!

For the prices, the park felt basic despite being described as 'superior'. It's generally very small, with a basic playground, and the slide was under maintenance. The hot tub costs extra and sits near the middle of the park overlooking a car park. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit right by the road, which was extremely noisy. There were no ironing facilities or extra blankets in the unit.

The staff were helpful. Kate quickly reimbursed me after the laundry ate $2. Everything was clean and tidy, and the kitchen and dining area had a lovely layout. There were two clean BBQs, and the bathrooms had at least four showers, a bench for your things and a hair dryer. It's a lovely, quiet campsite, though it was packed. It's only 8 minutes from the city centre, and there's a shuttle service into town throughout the day, which was great. The site isn't very big, so I'd book ahead since I can see it filling up. You can rent the hot tub for 25 minutes for $15. I'd definitely stay again. Thanks for a great visit. No pictures, sorry, we arrived late and left around 5am. Aimee & Mike Canada

Our Rata Cabin was warm and comfortable with the basics, but its lights wouldn't turn on and the TV wasn't tuned in, so we couldn't use it. There were no information pamphlets in the room explaining how to get EIFI or use the TV. It would've been nice to watch a movie before bed. Probably suited to the 50 to 70 age group.
