Adina Apartment Hotel Auckland Britomart

We stayed two nights in room 2019. It was quiet and had everything needed, including cooking utensils if you want to make your own meals. Woolworths is less than a five-minute walk away. The buffet breakfast was good, with all the usual options. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and I'd highly recommend Adina Britomart. It'll be our first choice when we travel to Auckland again.

It's so quiet at night, and the location is a real bonus: across a small reserve from the Spark Arena and a short stroll to Queen Street. Guests also get a carpark downstairs. There's a cafe, bar and restaurant off the lobby, as well as a gym. The hotel is wonderful, with a great range of well-appointed rooms and friendly, very efficient staff. Awesome!

Our room was nice and new, and everything else was good. The pictures showed laundry and drying units, so we expected laundry facilities, but apparently they aren't in every room. We had to take our washing to Mint, about four minutes away, which cost extra time and money.

The location was excellent, with the ferry terminal, buses and main spots all within walking distance. Woolworth's is very close, handy for the full kitchen. We stayed twice, for five nights in April and three in May 2025, in a two-bedroom apartment with two full bathrooms, a living area, full kitchen and in-suite laundry. Both rooms were a great size and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. We heard some trucks heading to the harbour early in the morning, but they didn't disturb me since we're up early, and it wasn't insanely loud. A big thank you to housekeeping and the front desk for getting us into our room by noon on our first April visit. We arrived around 6am after more than 24 hours of travel and were exhausted. They let us wait in the lobby and got the room ready early. I think that helped with the jet lag. During that first stay, two bathroom lights went out over the five nights, leaving it darker but still usable. We asked about maintenance, but they explained that it wasn't working during the holidays. They offered another room, which we declined since we'd settled in and had only a few days left. I appreciated the offer to help. A clothes drying rack would have been useful, and a reminder about the housekeeping schedule at check-in would help. We knew about the schedule when booking, but forgot. They were doing what they could to get us in early, so maybe the usual information was skipped because of our circumstances. I can't remember if there was a book with services and other details, or if I just missed it.
