Rydges Auckland

The room was amazing, the price was fair, and I even got in a good workout at the gym. My daughter and I spent two nights here, with breakfast included both mornings. The buffet at The Cut restaurant was superb, with plenty of good food, so I’m not sure why some feedback about it is so negative. From check-in to checkout, the team gave us amazing service. Well done Rydges Hotel, keep it up. I’ll definitely be back 🤗💯

The Executive King Suite was spotless and tidy, and my wife and I couldn’t find anything wrong with it. The location was perfect, too. We had a fantastic stay at Rydges Auckland, with a welcoming team who were extremely polite. We’d definitely return. Thanks to everyone at Rydges Auckland for a lovely stay.

The room was okay when I stayed at this hotel about two years ago, nothing special, but the location was excellent. The parking was a major disappointment. It was through Wilson Parking, which is expensive and not part of the hotel, though the hotel offered a lower rate if you registered your plate at reception. On the first evening, I got a parking ticket. I assumed the hotel hadn’t registered my car correctly. The front desk staff member, whose name I can’t recall, told me not to worry and said they’d handle it. I was then told to move the car to another Wilson parking lot, which cost even more and felt very unsafe because groups of people often loitered there. I emailed the hotel several times afterward, but the problem never got resolved. They said they didn’t know about the situation, and I ended up having to pay the fine myself. It’s a shame: the room and location were decent, but their service and follow-up were poorly handled. I’m coming back to Auckland and looking for a nice hotel, but this brings back negative memories.

The staff really helped me out when I needed a room at short notice. It was clean, very comfortable, and had everything I needed. Great spot too. I'd happily stay again when I'm in Auckland, and would recommend it.
