Sudima Auckland City

Watching the SkyCity New Year’s fireworks from our room was a special highlight, especially for my mum. We had a wonderful three-night family stay at Sudima Hotel Auckland. The beds and pillows were comfortable, we slept well every night, and the food was both nutritious and tasty. Everyone on staff was welcoming. The front desk team was friendly and professional, housekeeping kept the room tidy, and room service responded quickly when we asked for things. We were all amazed by the bot that delivered our food orders, and had fun watching it. I'd gladly return and recommend the hotel.

It's about a 20-minute walk to the harbour and not too far from the main shopping area. We had a lovely three-night stay at the Sudima. The rooms were spacious and had the facilities we needed. The beds were super comfortable, and room service could bring drinks or food.

The restaurant downstairs was a real highlight. Its buffet breakfast was high quality and worth the $35 per adult and $19 per child. A robot even brought free milk to our room, though it split the milk outside our door and then seemed unsure what to do, which made us laugh. We booked two double beds, enough for me and one child in one bed and Nana and the other child in the second. The bathroom was very clean, but the shower had no door, so using the shower head meant squeezing into a corner. Our road-facing room was quiet even though it was only three floors up. Walking up Wellesley for ten minutes gets you to Queen St.

The rooms were quiet and very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. Staff were polite and helpful with everything we asked for, even bringing extra towels to our room at off hours. This hotel deserves five stars.
