Travelodge Hotel Auckland Wynyard Quarter

Kaylin at the desk was kind and really helpful, and made the stay great. The city-view room was beautiful, with a gorgeous view, and I slept so well in the very comfortable bed. Check-in and checkout were easy, the location was extremely convenient, and on-site parking for a day was very reasonable and close to the hotel. I had a really nice stay and will definitely come back ❤️

I checked out early on the 28th after staying at Travelodge on the night of the 27th. Around 9:30am, I realised I'd left my ring on the bathroom vanity and called reception straight away. They said they'd check the room and call back, but nobody did. I went back that afternoon and was told nothing had been found. If staff had checked as promised, I expected a clear answer. Instead I had to chase them, with no follow-up or accountability. Losing something valuable is stressful enough, and this left me feeling that my concern wasn't taken seriously and that I couldn't trust them to handle lost property properly. Very disappointing service. I expected much better care and professionalism from a hotel.

The rooms were well equipped and the beds really comfortable, with good value for money and a great location. The coffee shop downstairs makes the best coffee in the neighbourhood.

I only needed a room to get ready for a work event, and even though it was a last-minute booking they let me check in early. It was tidy, very clean and comfortable. I couldn't stay the night, but I got an hour's nap in and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I'll book again. Catch and fish next door was amazingly yummy for a convenient bite, and having the countdown metro on the corner was handy. It's a short walk from Wynyard corner, quiet and well located. The staff were lovely. The only thing is parking is self-parking, but there's lots around.
