We had both breakfast and dinner at Delamore Lodge, and each meal was a treat. The food was colorful and beautifully plated, with every course feeling distinct while still fitting together. The chef took our dietary needs into account and made the whole meal feel like a creative, sensory experience. It's one of Waiheke Island's best places to eat, especially if you care about good food.

The five-course “trust the chef” dinner was creative and incredible, and we made the most of the pool, sauna and hot tub during our short stay. Delamore felt private and luxurious, with attentive, personable staff who made us feel welcome and at home. The location and service were both wonderful. We’ll be back for a longer stay, it was one of our best experiences in New Zealand. Thank you!

We started our honeymoon at Delamore Lodge, arriving by helicopter, which made the stay feel special from the outset. The lodge has a quiet, intimate atmosphere and a luxurious feel throughout. The food was fresh, carefully prepared and delicious. We also had a two-hour massage that left us relaxed and restored, one of the best spa experiences we’ve had. The staff were warm and attentive, answered all our questions and helped us plan the day. They even arranged a car so we could explore town easily. For a romantic escape with thoughtful service, Delamore Lodge made a lasting impression.

We had a massage and really enjoyed it, and the covered spa area was especially useful on the rainy days. The staff were lovely, with a nice balance of personal warmth and giving us room to unwind. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment, which had beautiful views from the master bedroom and from the pool and terrace. Breakfast outside was a highlight, with fresh fruit and home-baked pastries. The whole lodge had a luxurious boutique feel.

The food was so fresh, and we loved trying local dishes. Each morning brought a wonderful breakfast by the fire, with appetizers in the evening and a fantastic “Trust the Chef” dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was phenomenal. We also enjoyed waking up to the ocean from our room and hiking down to the nearby bay. Delamore Lodge is a comfortable, distinctive place with incredible views, and a charming choice if you’re after good cuisine.
