The room was quiet and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the office staff were nice. There’s AC, too. One thing to watch: the website says check-in is until 9 pm, but a sign on the door says the office closes at 8:30. The place felt a little run down. It was fully booked while we were there.

Jess was a real help when we were stranded in Blenheim after bad weather cancelled all incoming flights to Wellington. She listened to what we needed, then took the initiative to arrange the one room left for us, including finding an extra fold-out bed. The room was clean and welcoming. Thanks, Jess, for handling a stressful situation so well. A true professional.

The room was clean, tidy, and functional, and the staff were pleasant, though they didn’t offer much information. There’s some road noise because the windows aren’t double glazed, and the towel rail was broken, so maintenance is needed. Also, the continental breakfast mentioned on the website isn’t actually available.

The 171 on High team made for a far more comfortable stay than I expected. The rooms had what I needed, were properly clean, and seemed well maintained. Excellent guest service, thank you!

The place felt very modern inside, and the management and facilities were really nice. We got more than we expected, including a BBQ, sports on Sky TV in the multi room, and a clear commitment to the environment. I’d definitely stay again.
