The room was spotless and everything worked well. The bed was comfortable, there was a good reading light, and the modern shower had fantastic pressure. The towels were thick, soft, and very absorbent. There’s a private table and chairs outside too, lovely for a drink on a hot day. The hosts were happy to help and super friendly. Thank you! The owners are welcoming and super friendly, which means a lot to us after dealing with some owners who were rude and racist. They take real pride in the place, and my family and I really appreciate it. I’ve already recommended it to our whānau and friends, and we’ll stay again on our next trip down. The room was incredibly clean, without a speck of dust or any sign of previous guests. Even the faux flowers in jars were dust free, and they had little pouches for feminine products. The bed was so comfortable, the carpet soft and clean, and it was easy to get outside. There was a working SKY TV, a fantastic working spa bath, a full fridge, microwave, cook top, sink, and all the cooking utensils and dining things we needed. The heat pump was great too. It’s the cleanest, cosiest, best presented and fairly priced accommodation we’ve stayed in across all of South Island.

Paul and Chelle did a great job looking after us. The place was very clean, with a king size bed, and close to town. I’ll stay here again when I come back to visit my Grandma.

The apartment room had plenty of cooking gear, a stove top and oven, plus lots of channels on Sky. It was about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower pressure was great. The only downside was the traffic noise, since it’s right on the main road.
