We spent three lovely days exploring the Marlborough area and its attractions, with a relaxing hilltop setting to come back to. Paula and Russell were very friendly and helpful, and the room and accommodation felt like new and were spotless. A chilled-out break. Rob & Tracey UK.

Paula and Russell were so welcoming and warm-hearted, and took care of everything we might need. They even suggested places for dinner. The room was clean, comfortable and nice, and breakfast was generous with plenty to choose from. We’d definitely come back, it’s a real gem.

The owners were friendly, and we liked the peaceful setting, garden and views. We rented both rooms for one night with a friend. Breakfast was the one letdown: it felt too basic, especially for a B&B charging 180 NZD per room per night. Even the orange juice came in a glass wrapped in tin foil.

The property is secluded and quiet, about five minutes from Renwick and 15 minutes from Blenheim. Russell also has a great collection of vintage cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Paula and Russell were excellent hosts and made sure we were comfortable.
