The service was warm, attentive, and personal, and Angela, Macey, and the whole team made us feel special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and relaxed. The setting is gorgeous, with beautiful rooms, a pool, and nature all around. Breakfast and the other food were outstanding, as were the wine and canapés by the fireplace. We loved our time here and can’t wait to return to the Marlborough Hotel!

The food was exceptional, and everyone on staff was so welcoming and kind. We had a great stay in this beautiful, fully renovated hotel. The location is gorgeous, and our room was clean and really comfortable. They even let us pick flowers from the garden for a personal photoshoot :) I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious stay on the South Island.

We loved our stay at The Marlborough, from the food to the thoughtful service. The restaurant team remembered what we’d ordered or drunk before and prepared accordingly the following day, which was remarkable. Raoul, Niel, Tui (?), and the Indian young man who helped at breakfast and dinner were all especially courteous and memorable. The hotel is comfortable and centrally located, close to many key wineries. The front desk ladies, Macy, Violeta, and Lauren, were thoughtful and attentive to detail.

The property is lovely, and the staff really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. They know the area and gave us excellent suggestions. We enjoyed the breakfast and the restaurant, plus drinks and canapés before dinner.

Our meals at Harvest were delightful, and the staff, Macey, Vio, and Lauren, were fantastic, quick to respond and very helpful. The Marlborough was a highlight of our trip. The property is beautiful, full of historical charm, and the whole experience felt personal and carefully put together. It exceeded our expectations.
