We’re local-ish, about 15 minutes away, and wanted somewhere to have a beer without going to a pub. This was just what we were after: a great place with a lovely view and staff. We first came in January 2026, and have since been back a few times to play golf. Even better now!

A fun little course that works well for beginners and regular golfers alike. The lunch menu is simple, and there’s a good range of cold drinks. Definitely coming back.

Kaye used to be a NZ golf team champ, and she sorted out my slice in about ten minutes. Honestly, a miracle. There are plenty of practice areas, plus challenging par 3 and 4 holes to figure out. It’s worth the drive, whether you’re killing time before a flight, have just landed, or are a kiwi who just wants to go. The food and beer are good, but the people and scenery are what make the place. Kaye built it from a farm 23 years ago, and it’s grown into an all ages golf community center in the middle of paradise. Enjoy!

I played nine holes with my father inlaw piet, had an hour’s lesson with Kaye, then went out for another nine. We enjoyed every minute. The facility Kaye has created is stunning, and the clubhouse food was delicious. Thanks, Kaye, for teaching my father inlaw and me the basics to get us started. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

Kaye was amazing and made our wedding day exceptional. It went really well, and we’ve returned several times since. The current chef makes some great dishes at very reasonable prices, which you can enjoy while taking in the landscape. I’m keen to try the roast. Keep an eye out for Max the friendly cat too!
