We enjoyed the individual themes and decor in each room, and the shower had great water pressure. The cottage was lovely, with a pretty garden view, and the host was kind and helpful. It’s just outside town but close enough for us to explore as planned.

The gardens were lovely and well kept, with birds along the tree line. Reception was gracious and helpful in communicating. The room was thoughtfully equipped and comfortable, with a heat pump, good water pressure, comfy reading chairs and a selection of books, plus an outdoor chair and table. It was a nice overnight stay, though I could easily use it as a base to explore the area for a few days. There’s nearby construction, but that’s not the owner’s fault, and it’ll all get sorted in time.

The gardens are peaceful, and the place feels tucked away even though town is only a couple of minutes off. The owners make you feel welcome and looked after from the start. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A great base for relaxing or heading to Hobbiton and Lake Karapiro. Couldn’t fault it, and I’ll definitely come back.

Fairly priced, basic accommodation. There’s housing development all around, so the long driveway crosses an undeveloped area and isn’t sealed. It was quiet, with little traffic noise 🙂

The room was tidy and clean, and the location is good. There’s some gravel on the way in, though, and it doesn’t really have motel or hotel standards, including no proper reception. Still, thanks for having us.
