I don't like writing negative reviews. Most of mine are five stars because I prefer telling people about places where I've had a great experience. But I need to be honest about this one. Conach House looked immaculately kept when we arrived, with lovely gardens and a very impressive, spacious room. It was perfectly clean and looked very comfortable. The mattress, though, didn't meet the standard of the room. I'm normally a sound sleeper, but I woke up several times, barely slept, and left with a sore neck and shoulder. It doesn't make me happy to say it, but we probably won't visit Conach House again.

It's a return visit for us, and Megan, the owner, is still a pleasure to deal with. She's easy to get along with and goes out of her way to help. There were plenty of breakfast supplies, with a good variety. After a long drive, the hot tub is a real bonus, or you can simply sit and soak while looking over the garden. The whole place has a restful feel.

We were looking for a little luxury at the end of our holiday, and this lovely B&B delivered. It's just outside Cambridge, with a world-class koi pond and a hot tub.

The area is stunning, and the location was perfect for the beach volleyball courts, just across the road. Lizz and the family were such awesome hosts, and we were well fed. The rooms were beautiful, and I couldn't have asked for more. I'll come back again.
