Huntington Stables Retreat Accommodation

The views from the private balcony were breathtaking whatever the weather, and the warm, comfortable bed made for a dreamless sleep. Our stay was far too brief. Andy and Robyn were friendly, welcoming hosts, and the cozy Loft had plenty of windows for fresh air. They offered an extensive continental breakfast, and there was a collection of DVDs for the rainstorm. The hot tub, sauna and plunge pool are peerless in the region. Well worth the trip.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, while giving us space when we wanted it. They even sent us off with cuttings from the garden. We stayed in The Stall, with its horse theme, while the other rooms are stables and loft. The room was warm, quiet and comfortable, and the lodge has a beautiful rural view. The garden is lovely, with little artworks and mosaics to spot as you wander. There's an outdoor pool, hot spa and sauna too. A lovely place and worth the price for a luxury getaway.

We stayed in the stall and found it beautiful, comfortable and private. The owners were welcoming and helpful, and there were lovely views from the property early this morning. They have a spa pool and sauna, but we didn't have time to try them. Thanks so much, we'll definitely return.

We had only one day in town, which was a pity, as we thoroughly enjoyed this unique, well maintained place. Our standard room had its own separate entrance, which was very convenient, and was well outfitted. The grounds were beautifully kept. It was also great hearing about other things the property does, such as bird rescue.
