Karapiro Willows Luxury B & B

The wildlife was a real treat, whether sitting in the immaculate garden with the hosts or visiting Sanctuary Mountain, and there are glow worms on the nearby river at night. Hobbiton is close by too, and the house is well placed for the highway and North Island experiences. The peaceful setting and kind, welcoming hosts made this the highlight of my cross-country trip around NZ. I was so glad I based myself here for a few days. My room was comfortable, quiet and spotless, and it felt so much like home that I hated to leave. Breakfast was fantastic. I strongly recommend staying as long as you can and not rushing this part of the country. I'll definitely be back to this beautiful BnB!

The bed was comfy and the Wi-Fi was lightning fast, and the place was quiet while still handy for Cambridge and Hamilton. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning, and we ate in the host’s kitchen looking out over a lovely garden. The room was beautifully furnished and spotless, which mattered a lot to us. Robyn was so friendly, and we enjoyed our chats with her. We’d definitely come back if we’re in the area again.

My husband and I travel often, so we can tell when a place is more than just good. Karapiro Willows B & B was superb, and we’d happily recommend it. The room was clean and nicely presented, with a comfortable bed, and Robyn welcomed us into their beautiful kitchen for a great breakfast. We booked this BnB to split up a long drive, and were really glad we did. The setting is beautiful, and the hospitality was wonderful. Our room had everything we needed, was well appointed, and had a very comfortable bed. The hostess was accommodating and made us a very good, healthy breakfast. Thanks, Robyn.
