Those big dining tables made it easy for our bridal party to gather for meals, and renting the whole villa for two days worked out perfectly. The suites were lovely and gave everyone a relaxed place to get ready on the wedding day. We also got some beautiful photos around the villa. I'd happily recommend it for a wedding party or another special occasion.

We had plenty of room to get ready, with the girls in the main house and the boys in an apartment. The bathroom had great lighting for makeup, and we weren't in the way of other guests. The stained glass looked beautiful in our photos, both while getting ready and as we left. The house was clean and had just the feel we wanted for our wedding weekend. The hosts were wonderful. They let us park the wedding cars out front for photos and opened an unused room so I could keep my dress away from the groom before the wedding. When we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room, they kindly let us back in. We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Valmai House. If you're getting married, this is a lovely place to get ready.

Really nice place, close to town. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and ensuite. The staff were friendly and happy to help.

We stayed here with our sports team and fit easily into the rooms, kitchen, lounge, and dining area. The owners were fantastic, and the place felt lovely and restful. Parking was just a little tight, but otherwise there was nothing to fault.

A short walk from town, with a lovely home and a welcoming host. The price was excellent, and it had all the amenities for self-catering if you wanted. It was every bit as lovely as I'd expected.
