The view was a lovely bonus, and both my main dish and dessert were delicious. Claire served me at the East Pier Hotel restaurant in Napier, and her friendly, professional manner made the meal even more enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant.

One of the best steak meals I've had. The food was amazing, service was quick, and the staff were epic. They handled our large group and all our requests happily, with good banter too. Thank you. Ten out of ten.

We had another marvelous stay at the East Pier. The staff are always lovely, our room was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is usually tranquil. We'll be back and completely recommend this gem of a property. We appreciate the staff's efforts to keep behavior at the hotel to a high standard. I just read a previous review about an incident during our recent stay, which said everyone was told to be quiet at 8:30 pm. We were sitting on our deck with a glass of wine and can confirm only one group was spoken to about noise. They were obnoxiously loud, repeatedly using foul language that carried through the entire complex and surrounding area. When staff politely asked them to lower the volume, they showed no respect and repeatedly ignored the request.

We booked breakfast at the East Pier Hotel, but the woman with black curly hair was so unwelcoming. She made us feel like our being there was an inconvenience. Wouldn't recommend.

We stopped in for a drink and some really yummy pizza. The service was awesome, and they made sure to go the extra mile to look after us.
