We stayed upstairs and had spacious rooms, with enough space for the double blow-up bed our son slept on. The beds were comfortable, and after the concert we watched Netflix and slept really well. We were careful not to make too much noise for the guests below us. For New Year’s, the beach was spectacular, with fireworks and a concert along the waterfront. The Warehouse, a fish and chip shop, and Woolworths were just a stone’s throw away. I expected a three-star place based on the reviews, but it exceeded that. There was air conditioning and a heater in the room. Great place for the New Year’s countdown, and I’d highly recommend it. Shout out to the amazing receptionist.

The place was busy over Waitangi weekend, but it stayed quiet. The weather was hot and lovely, so having a pool on site was great. It was nice and cold, and always clean. Our room was clean and nice throughout our five-day stay. Service was amazing from arrival to departure, and the friendly staff and owners made the visit even better. It’s an easy walk to the beach, town, and plenty of places to eat. The Warehouse and a corner dairy are about two minutes away, very handy. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it. Thanks to Andrea, Charles, Jackie, and Shane, you’re all amazing ❤️

Nothing flash, but good value for money. The staff do their best to make your stay comfortable. The walls are pretty thin, and air conditioning would make a big difference.

A few odd surprises here. There were only two of each utensil, two spoons, forks, knives, and so on. The hot and cold marks on the shower knob were swapped, so turning it all the way to “hot” meant waiting ages for hot water and wondering if they’d run out. It almost felt like a prank. The body soap dispenser was empty too, so I had to use the bar soap. That felt a bit like a prank as well.

I stayed for four days and the service was top-notch. The location is perfect, close to Napier CBD, and the pool was refreshing on a hot summer’s day.
