The new owners were wonderful and made my girlfriend and me feel right at home. Our room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. The place has loads of history and incredible sunrise views, and it’s just a stone’s throw from the beach and Ocean Spa, depending on your throwing arm! I was surprised how close we were to the Art Deco buildings along the streets, plus cafes, bars, restaurants, op shops, and cool art shops. We also had a good time at the saturday morning market. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Napier.

A really exceptional stay, right in the heart of the city with easy access to the beach, spa pools, and CBD. I was here for work, but I’ll definitely come back for a holiday too. The hosts are lovely and helpful if you’re new to the area. An easy five stars!

Character and charm, a warm welcome, and incredible views. It’s comfortable and handy for getting into town, and the breakfast was the yummiest you could hope for. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
