I normally don’t cater to the lower end of the market, and I don’t like guests who spend all day cooking to save money instead of going out. It was raining all day, but I’d have preferred you not stay, since I don’t need the money. You’re exactly why I charge so much, to keep people like you away. You’re opportunists, not my market, and you don’t appreciate the place because you don’t know any better. Next time you feel disappointed somewhere, say so and go elsewhere. I feel sorry for you. If you write a review the owner dislikes, he sends abusive messages like this. He said he couldn’t believe we expected a real lighthouse and called us ignorant, then told us to check the listing and pictures before booking. He kept laughing that we should have said so when we arrived and gone somewhere else. He also asked why we hadn't said how we felt instead of leaving passive-aggressive feedback, and said he felt sorry for us. His message was full of laughing faces and ended by saying it was funny.
