Casino Court Motor Lodge

The place was clean, but we could hear the upstairs guests thumping around all the time. The bed was bouncy and could use an update, and there’s no heat pump, just a small heater. The dining table was tucked into the kitchen area, so we never used it. The decor needs a serious refresh: the kitchen’s bamboo blind was broken, the paint around the doors and windows had yellowed, and the wine glasses didn’t match. We probably wouldn’t stay again.

I was surprised by how good the spacious, clean, well-presented unit was for such an exceptional price. The service was amazing and everything was easy, with no hassle. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family travelling. Thank you 😊

The hosts are fantastic, and the location is great. Everything was clean and well equipped, and the beds were great.

I didn’t stay here, but I stopped by to drop something off for a charity they help support. The rooms looked lovely, and the two staff members I spoke to, who I assume are the owners, were warm and friendly. They were fully booked for the day I was considering, but still helped by suggesting a similar place nearby. The price would have been fine by me, and the location is very close to central Christchurch. I hope I get the chance to stay here in future. 😁👍
