Right in the city, which is handy, and the place has a lot of potential. It really needs an immediate renovation, though, especially brighter rooms. I ended up buying bulbs at Pak N Save to light mine during my stay. The property could be worth a fortune if its potential were realized.

My family and I arrived to a messy, unhygienic area outside room 2. The people there kept arguing and fighting, and my kids felt too unsafe to even get out of the car. We only had to stay one night, luckily. I wouldn’t recommend this place for families, especially those with kids or babies.

The price was incredibly reasonable for the quality, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. I stayed four nights and found the room clean, warm, and comfortable, a welcome break from Christchurch’s cold weather. The kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed. A great option if you’re watching your budget but still want a clean, cozy, convenient stay. Highly recommended!

We were tired and it was late, so we stayed, but I wanted a refund as soon as I walked in. I felt so unsafe. The shower was awful and wouldn’t stay on its latch, and the bedspread looked like it hadn’t been washed in ages. My partner’s feet hung off the double bed, which wasn’t the queen advertised. The TV had no reception, and we later realized it wasn’t even plugged in. The decor was awful and dated. This place needs some life breathed into it. Don’t stay here. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The unit was larger than most, and the location was really good. Renovations were underway, giving the units a much-needed makeover. It’s very cheap, so you get what you pay for.
