The guy at the Highway Inn was awesome. I forgot my card, and he kept my drink on hold for me. The garden is great and there's a good menu too. Take the reviews seriously, folks, we all love this place. Thanks heaps, and keep being awesome!

If you want a bit of that back-in-Aussie feeling, this place is a gem. It's clean, has a lovely atmosphere, and Maz was so warm and welcoming that she made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the service was great. The local truckies will give you a good laugh too. 10/10, highly recommend.

We had a good night's sleep here with our 6mth old baby, though any disturbance probably came from our room when the baby cried, sorry! We only stopped for the night because we had an early flight the next morning. The facilities were clean and hygienic, with strong free Wi-Fi, Sky TV, and a pub and bar on site. The staff were lovely, and we felt safe and well looked after. Thanks, guys 🫶

Lunch for 18 on a Sunday was another hit with our Outkasts Car Club. The menu was great and the prices were good. Our group had such a good time, I thought they might never go home! The cheeky front-of-house staff member was a real hit, same age group as us. Thanks so much, we'll be back pretty soon, I'm afraid lol.

We had an amazing meal, with generous portions and great prices. The rooms were immaculate, airy, and really lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A great little gem for an overnight stay. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in Christchurch.
