I really liked the family feel of the place. I was there for a five-day, four-night business trip, and Pauline and Gerald were such great hosts. The food was excellent, the rooms were well looked after, and the location worked perfectly. I even left some luggage behind, and they sent it on to me in Auckland. Couldn't have chosen a better place, highly recommend it.

We’d definitely recommend Homelea B&B if you’re staying in Christchurch. The hosts were so lovely, and breakfast was a highlight: there was a different hot dish each morning, plus fresh fruit from their garden.

Pauline and Gerald made us feel very welcome during our two nights there. The B&B is centrally located, with the city centre and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was cosy and spotless, and breakfast was delicious, with a different warm dish each day and plenty of choice.

Pauline's barista coffee was spot on, and breakfast could be continental or hot, with options tailored to dietary needs, including Coeliac requirements. The hosts, Pauline and Gerald, were incredibly welcoming. It’s a lovely character home, kept beautifully clean and sparkling with Enjo, without chemicals, which made me feel safe in 2020. I wouldn’t look anywhere else for my next stay in CHCH.

Thanks, Pauline & Gerald, for fitting us in at the last minute. We loved the little extras, like books, games, and a nightcap, and the breakfasts were super. The house was immaculate, the hosts lovely, and our big room had a really comfy bed and great shower pressure. It’s centrally located too. We’ll be back!
