Ogb Suites

We had a suite for a surprise overnight stay, which was nice, but it left us a little disappointed. There were no robes, so getting to the pool, spa and sauna meant going in togs and a towel. The building has some nice features, but it’s poorly maintained and needs a proper clean and cosmetic work. There was bubbling paint on several walls, thick dust on the ceiling fan, badly worn carpet and cracks and stains on the ceiling. I’m not sure what the stain above the bed was. The bathroom also had no fan, just a dust-filled vent. The pool area needs to be closed while the rust is removed and everything is repainted. The bar was small but seemed to have decent food options. There’s outdoor space, though it wouldn’t be ideal in winter, and the area across the hall from the bar was being used as a dumping ground, which made the place feel less appealing. I’d come back if the whole place were upgraded and robes were provided. They’re a simple thing, but a nice and perhaps necessary part of a getaway.

Zeenie & Sarah were great at communicating when our travel plans changed unexpectedly, and we’d definitely book again. The suite was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed for five days. It’s a beautiful building, and the lively scene out front always made coming home feel welcoming. The central location made it easy to walk to many city highlights, especially New Regent St for coffee, gelato and dining.

We stayed in an elegant old building in a central spot. The accommodation was comfortable, though cold, and the wall-mounted fan heater didn’t do much. It’s in the same building as the Heritage Hotel but isn’t associated with it. We were staying through Air B&B, next door to an MIQ facility.

The building has a lot of character, especially with its high ceilings. We only stayed one night, and our room had plenty of comfortable furniture. The bathroom felt a bit tired.
