Salisbury St Villa 1

The staff were genuinely helpful, and that’s the main reason this gets three stars from me. The room’s shower was nice, and the heavy curtains kept the sun out of the main bed. The smaller bed had no curtains, though, so it got bright in the morning. The split-level suite didn’t feel remotely luxurious. Downstairs there was an old little sofa with a grubby blanket; upstairs were two beds and a small side table. The heater was upstairs, making the bedroom boiling while downstairs stayed freezing. The Wi-Fi was painfully slow, one outlet by the bed didn’t work, and the clock wasn’t plugged in or positioned near the bed. The cot for our baby felt flimsy and a bit unsafe. There’s not much nearby either. Restaurants, shops, or a decent café were at least a ten-minute walk away.
