The Towers on the Park

The location was the only good part of our stay. The room was dated, with a shower over the bath that didn’t work for my 82-year-old hubby. We couldn’t change rooms. There were no face flannels, very little cutlery or crockery, and nowhere to wash dishes apart from the bathroom sink. The fridge was rusty, the toaster filthy, the two-seater couch broken, and there was only one plastic chair. No SKY or streaming TV either. We’d planned this as a treat, but it wasn’t one. At nearly $500 for two nights, I don’t understand the 4-star rating. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Parking was great, but the rest was a huge letdown. I asked for the best room and think I got the worst. The kitchen was so poor I’d expect better at the YMCA or a shelter, and there was nothing in the bedroom-living area that felt worth the price. The bathroom was one big, cold, rundown room with a spa bath, and the TV didn’t work properly. There was just one heater, one chair, one coffee table, and an old two-seater couch. Bring a sleeping bag, because the bed only has what you see on it. I should’ve slept in my vehicle. I’ve stayed somewhere cheaper and gotten more for my money.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but the decor is dated and the place needs maintenance and an update. The big bathroom has a whole wall of mirrors that feels unnecessary, and the toilet area is tiny.

The bed was made nicely and clean, though the long black cover shown on the site wasn’t in my room. I’d come hoping for a nice stay, but the room wasn’t ready even though I arrived on time, so they gave me a different one. The TV was really outdated, and I couldn’t enjoy anything in the room. The walls are very hollow, so I could hear a lot. Don’t come with high expectations. They should update the TVs. Pretty disappointing.
