It was quiet at night, with a comfortable room, a good bed and easy parking. The room was clean, the price affordable and good value, and the location close to town. There's also a swimming pool, which was nice. I had a good stay in Dargaville and would come back.

Hobson’s Choice Motel is a great base for visiting Kai Iwi Lakes and Tāne Mahuta, and it's a convenient place to stay in town. The facilities were great, everything was very clean, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone needing accommodation in the area. I'd definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night, but I highly recommend it. The room was very clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and a great hot shower. The host was welcoming, and there was a small outdoor seating area in front of the room.

The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well fitted out, with plenty of cupboard space. I appreciated the small details, like the clean little nooks, a multi-box by the bed for plugging in several things, and the host showing me where to park and walking me to my room. After a long trip, the quick, easy check-in was a good start. I was greeted promptly by the motelier, who gave me my key and showed me to the room. I liked the place from the moment I arrived.

The room was very clean, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. I had booked a room but then had a medical emergency, so they credited it and I was able to visit a week later.
