Sunset View Lodge

We could walk to the beach for sunsets, and the ocean view from our colorful room was worth the stay on its own. It was peaceful and comfortable, with everything neat and tidy, and the price was affordable. A lovely place for couples to unwind. I’d happily come back.

There were six of us, three siblings and our spouses, and the three upstairs rooms suited us really well. We loved the gardens on the drive up to the front door. When I asked about dinner, Sharron booked us a table at Sharkys, which was an easy walk away. The accommodation was excellent, and we’d love to return in summer when the winds have eased and it’s warm enough to enjoy the amazing pool.

The continental breakfast was plentiful, and Sharron and Shane were such friendly, helpful hosts. We had a stunning view and a magnificent sunset, with lovely gardens greeting us on the drive up. The accommodation was beautifully presented and very clean. It was so hot that a pullout shade might make the deck usable for longer. A plate and knife would also be handy for cheese with wine. Just little things. We’ll definitely be back.

My granddaughter and I loved our three nights at sunset view lodge. We’d originally booked two, then decided to add another night. The beach views were lovely, and Sharron and Shane were so warm and friendly. We’d like to come back someday.
