Motel On Carroll

BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, this was better than the island. I loved looking at DIDDY KIDDIES over there, SOOOOO FRIGGIN TUFF BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. I booked directly on their website, travelled to Dunedin, and only then got a call saying there was no room available. That was the second time that same day a motel in Dunedin had done this. Bad service.

The bedroom was small for three people, with no cooking area and a very narrow kitchen counter. Someone next door kept kicking the wall.

The shower was hot, but it only trickled, so you had to huddle right under the head to get wet. The towels were really thin and very, very small. The rooms carried on the same poor condition as the entrance, with stained carpets and bedding, though at least the sheets and pillowcases were clean. The carpets in the motel entry were stained and dated too, and didn't feel clean underfoot. I suggest avoiding this place if you have other options. For the same price there are places with better facilities, and for a little more a night you can do substantially better. This shouldn't cost more than $70 a night.
