Bluestone On George

Bluestone is so central that we walked to most places we wanted to visit. The Governor's Cafe, which quickly became my favourite, was only 500 metres away. There's also good off-street parking. We loved our six nights here. The modern apartment was spotless, and the efficient wall heater and underfloor heating in the spacious bathroom made it easy to keep warm. The kitchenette had plenty of supplies, and we used the washer and dryer. I found the bed and pillows really comfortable and loved the feel of the whole place. We'd highly recommend Bluestone On George.

We'd asked specifically for a quiet room, but ours backed onto student accommodation that stayed rowdy and unpleasant until the early hours. The room also fell short of what we expected from a loft apartment, including the size and the kitchen facilities. The place felt more like a motel than a hotel.

The daily room service left everything spotless, from the vacuuming to the polished vanity and taps. They brought fresh towels if you wanted them, and the room was so warm and welcoming when we arrived. It's beautifully designed and very clean. I can't recommend Bluestone on George highly enough.

Neville and Sandra were warm and welcoming, and the couple of staff members we met were lovely and seemed happy in their jobs. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and would highly recommend the place. Don't bother looking anywhere else. The guest lounge was exceptionally clean, with no grubby marks on the sofas or chairs, which is unusual for a shared space. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained too, with lovely modern decor and comfortable furnishings. Outside, the gardens were beautiful and well kept, with nice seating areas.
