Kicking back on the recliner sofa with tea, watching and listening to the sea, was bliss. The apartment is right on the waterfront, with bus access to town within walking distance and plenty of good cafes and gift shops nearby. Our hosts were accommodating, and communication was excellent from booking onward. We wished we could have stayed longer. The place was clean, bright, spacious, and well equipped, with fantastic sea views. There were so many thoughtful extras: locally made milk, good tea and coffee, cheese and crackers, beach towels, and even a spare toothbrush. The small pieces of homemade soap and the quality bathroom products were lovely eco-friendly touches. Thanks for a great stay. We'll definitely return!

The town was a lot of fun, and the apartment was spotless and newly renovated. There's superb pizza at the restaurant below, and the beach is only steps from the front door, with really fun waves. From the window, the ocean view is spectacular, and you can watch surfers all day and seals on the beach. It has everything you need. Absolutely perfect.

The apartment was close to the beach, but having contractors working around us made the stay uncomfortable. At about 8:15 AM on checkout day, someone was using an electric saw just behind the kitchen door and window. There was no curtain or blind there, so we worried the contractors could see in and didn't feel at ease moving around the small apartment. Another contractor made noise trying to get keys from the lockbox after we had checked in. We'd told management our check-in time in advance, so he should have known we were already there. When I opened the front door, he said he was due to work on the window but could do it later. We don't understand why this work was happening while we were in the apartment. We paid to stay there, but it seemed management wanted the contractor to continue working around guests. Not good customer service.

The apartment had everything we wanted, with lovely views and bars just a few yards away. The pizza we had was superb.

Watching the surfers and waves from the window was amazing. The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay, and the hosts had a thoughtful spread of five teas and local farm milk in a glass bottle. Felt like a home away from home.
